About
A place for studio work to live
Architecture students produce beautiful, laborious work, and most of it disappears the week after the final review. Boards go in a cupboard, models get binned, and the files sit on a hard drive nobody opens again.
What this is
Lumiere is a gallery built around how architecture school actually works: by school, by course, by year. A project belongs to a studio, a studio belongs to a programme, and the whole thing reads like a year-end show that never gets taken down.
Upload your drawings, renders and full project PDFs. Every page of a PDF is rendered right there on the page, at full resolution, so somebody can read your presentation without downloading anything.
Who it's for
- Students, who get a portfolio link that survives graduation and shows work at the size it was drawn.
- Tutors and studio leads, who can point at last year's cohort when briefing this one.
- Applicants and juniors, who can finally see what a real studio submission looks like before producing their first.
Who can join
Sign-up is open to students at the schools below, using a university email address. That restriction is on purpose: it keeps the gallery made of genuine studio work rather than stock renders, and it means a name on a project is a real person you could find in a studio.
If your school isn't listed and you'd like it to be, get in touch and we'll add it.
Your work stays yours
You keep the copyright in everything you upload. You can edit or delete any project at any time, and deleting removes the files as well as the page. The terms spell this out properly.
